Instalaciones
Our facilities are located in strategic locations along the Atlantic Ocean. We are located between Europe, Africa and the American continent. We are located in the Canary Islands and the Basque Country, covering the area that extends from the west coast of Africa to the north of Spain. In the Canary Islands we have a shipyard specialized in the repair, conversion and maintenance of ships weighing up to 5500 MT dry. The facilities are equipped with 5 stranded trolleys ready to receive vessels of maximum dimensions of 123 meters in length and 21 meters in beam. In our facilities we also have a pier of 120 meters long with a maximum draft of 7 meters. This infrastructure allows us to offer a repair service afloat without stranding.

Pedro Garaygordóbil, our founding President, created NAPESCA in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. NAPESCA was a ship repair shop, which at that time had 12 employees and high expectations. 1978. Aware of the continuous growth in demand for new services, Ircesa, a repair and electrical installation workshop, was founded. 1980. Astilleros Zamakona, a shipyard in Bilbao, joined the group of companies. Today it is an international benchmark in the construction of ships of high technological value. 1987. In order to guarantee the supply of parts and material, a fundamental requirement on an island, the company ASINAVAL is created. 1988. Repnaval, a ship repair shipyard, became part of the group, completing the range of services offered in the Canary Islands. 2006.
