Refrigeration facility with an area of 12,000 m2 and 80,000m3 of total capacity Located at the foot of the pier, it has seven nearby berths for boats with lengths between 90 and 120 meters. It consists of 8 storage chambers for frozen products at -25ºC, with dimensions of 30m. in length by 25m. in width, with pallet stowage at 5 heights. Each camera can accommodate 2,500 Tn. On each side of the camera areas there are two operating areas or transverse corridors, 20m wide and 64m long, there is an antechamber for each area, in the longitudinal direction of the installation, with temperature controlled at 4ºC, which allows access to the cameras and connection between operations areas. It has 12 sectional entrance doors from the outside, as well as a reception area on its northern slope of 12m. wide and 64 m. long, where 9 loading docks with refrigerated coats are located.

This refrigeration terminal is installed in the Muelle Grande of Puerto de La Luz and Las Palmas. This Port, strategically located in the Atlantic Ocean, between 3 continents: Europe, Africa and America, has all the necessary infrastructures so that the operations carried out in it offer all the necessary guarantees and services. Spanish Pelagic contributes to the consolidation of this Port as a Reference Port, worldwide, in terms of frozen fishing. A facility designed to ensure that there are no breaks in the cold chain, from the ship to the interior of the Chambers, and optimize the operations of loading/ unloading, handling and storage of goods. An installation designed to meet all the needs of each client, taking care of the product and the process with the highest quality.
