History Since 1994 this hotel has been continuously a family hotel. Just in that year, the company leased to exploit the Cantur Hotel, located in Las Palmas, at the Sagasta Street # 28. In May 2005, the Hotel closed its doors to begin reaconditioning and expansion, as well as complete renovation of furniture, fixtures and so on. The reopening would not happen until September 2007. Besides having now a thoroughly modern hotel, both for its location and its facilities, we have today a hotel of great commercial acceptance because it can perfectly meet the needs of every type of visitor, even if tourist. Following the extension and renovation works, these are some of the most important milestones that have been achieved in terms of improving the supply for the visitor: • The quality standard has risen, increasing the category to four star hotel from former three stars qualification. • The public areas have been extended and improved: restaurant, bar, cafe, rooms of various capacities, to attend different events; terrace with pool, children's pool, jacuzzi, sauna, chillout area, free wi-fi and so on • Several agreements were signed with companies nearby the hotel, providing services including thalassotherapy, parking ... • Various quality services were created, as pillow menu, tea and coffee facilities in the rooms, ironing ... Since the opening of the new hotel in September 2007, the Cantur Hotel has been gradually working on strengthening its brand in the market as well as expand its network of business contacts ..
